Raindrops is a beautifully illustrated book of sixty-four poems and some poetically expressed random thoughts printed on ninety-six pages, published by Rhyvers Press,
Most of the poems are either the mutterings of the poet with oneself or are statements of realization that surfaced due to the interaction with that unseen friend who dwells within. There are some poems that talk of love and longing for the beloved one and some that is thanksgiving for the many blessings received in this world. Some poems express agony caused by the worldly ways of people and some talk of the unending search for God who actually dwells within everyone and is accessible to one and all only if this fact is accepted in letter and spirit. Some poems capture the beauty of nature in terms of rivers, trees, snow-capped mountains, and the clouds while some talk of man-made boats, roads, trains, and railway stations.

There are soft moments of heartfelt cravings of childhood or of sentimental youth and also the harsh realizations since the pandemic hit mankind. In short, the book, bound by a beautiful paper cover depicting raindrops, is joyfully a compilation of the love for family and friends, the long roller-coaster journey of life, and the Grace of God that leads the way all along.
