From the Sidewalks of Life is a collection of 80 articles published in daily newspapers, primarily, Hindustan Times. The writings cover a wide variety of themes including personal and professional experiences of the author, observations made by a passer-by on the crossroads of life, and opinions on the complexity of human relationships. These articles also cover the author’s encounters with the Two-Faced Janus, as choices crop up that resonate with the lives of many others. The language is lucid and simple, dotted with literary and erudite quotes and spiced up with a dash of humour and wit. A heightened sense of empathy and egalitarianism is also the highpoint of some of the articles.
